22:30 Late, the good kind of tired
I'm Athul. Not the job, just the person.
I love art in nearly every form it takes. I carry a camera most days, and I'm usually carrying a book too. When something moves me, a face on a train or an argument overheard in a tea shop, I want to tell somebody about it. Writing is how I tell everybody.
I grew up on stories. Somebody was always telling one, at the dinner table, on long bus rides, in the hour before the power came back. I think that's where it started: the idea that an ordinary life, told carefully, is enough to hold a reader's attention.
In 2026 that idea became a novel, An Ordinary Kind of Grace. I'm writing the next thing slowly, the way I do most things.
